About Elie
“Everyone is an artist.” That belief sits at the center of everything I do.
I've been teaching French since 2009 — in classrooms, around kitchen tables, and across time zones. I hold a Master's degree in Language & Literature Education, currently teach at university, and am a certified TEF and DELF examiner with more than fifteen years of experience helping learners find their voice in French.
I'm also a helper. After four years of transformative solo travel, I'm convinced that imagination isn't a luxury — it's a compass. Through my workshops and one-on-one sessions, I blend deep human connection with the power of imagination, so you can make things, take risks, and surprise yourself.
Whether you come to me for the subjunctive or for a creative awakening — or both, it happens — you'll find the same thing: warmth, structure, and a firm belief that you have more in you than you think.

The Imagination Room Imagination Class
“Color your life, outside the lines.” Imagination Class is a four-session workshop series for small groups — a warm, judgment-free room where you get to play again and remember who you are.
Each session blends different methods for reconnecting with oneself, then creating an outline, characters, and universes that resemble you. Living authentically to write authentically; writing authentically to live authentically. There is nothing to prepare and no experience required: you don't need to be “creative” to come — you only need to be curious. Session by session, you'll loosen your grip on perfection, follow your own strange and wonderful ideas, and build a story you can keep.
This workshop isn't only for those who love to write. It's also for those searching for their path, those who want to create but don't know where to begin, those who need to create, to move past a block, to make a change in their life, or to make a decision, and simply for those who want to add a touch of creativity to their everyday life.

Some projects need a deadline. Others need a witness. Creative Advisor is one-on-one guidance for the moments when your idea is real but the path is foggy.
In our sessions, I listen deeply, and I help you see the story already within you, the one that needs to come to light. Together we design small, doable next steps, so momentum becomes a habit rather than a miracle. People bring me books they aren't writing, careers they're reimagining, travel plans that need to become concrete, video games with code but no story, and lives that need more color. All of it is welcome.

Some texts just need to be correct. Others need to sound like you. I translate from English and Spanish into French, and I proofread and edit French texts of all kinds — with a literary sensibility and an examiner's precision.
Websites, applications, academic work, training and course content, novels or short stories, letters that matter: I treat every text as if it had to live in the world — because it does. You'll get clean, natural French that respects your voice.
